This Week On Games: Fallout 4 Mods Update, Final Fantasy XV Spoilers, Mass Effect Andromeda Delayed Release And More

November is the month where big games are set to release. For gamers, it is the month to celebrate and enjoy the best games available. For this week's round-up, we have the latest mods update on Fallout 4. Final Fantasy XV, which took almost 10 years to make, also has some spoilers to share. As for Mass Effect: Andromeda, gamers will have to wait a little more with its delayed release date. Ready? Here's our weekly round-up on games that you should know about.

Fallout 4

Bethesda has released the word that once they have completed work on Skyrim Special Edition, they will also update the mods on Fallout 4 for PS4 Pro. With the mods update, players will be able to modify and create their own content using the Creation Kit. Assets that come with the game will be useful for gamers but not for external assets that still needs uploading into the game.

Fallout 4 access on the PS4 is still limited unlike with Xbox One and PC. But Bethesda has not given up yet on bringing the PlayStation 4 at par with its competition consoles. Fallout 4 developer also stated that they did what they can but "it wasn't approved."

Mass Effect: Andromeda

For gamers who are looking forward to the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda, waiting a little more might be in order. Bioware, the video game developer for Andromeda, stated that they might push the release of the game in 2017. This might sound a little disappointing. But having a quality video game is more important than having a game that is quick yet lacks the gameplay quality you require. Remember No Man's Sky? It was supposed to be a great game. However, it was released in a hurry and everybody knows where that led to.

Right now, a new game teaser encourages gamers to explore the vast space in the Andromeda Initiative. The orientation actually begins today, Nov. 7 and is called the "Mass Effect" day. The first ones to join the Andromeda Initiative will be the lucky ones to receive information on a critical mission, special training opportunities and be eligible for rewards upon completion of the program.

Final Fantasy XV

After a long wait of almost 10 years, Final Fantasy XV will finally release on Nov. 29. The game is still three weeks away before its official release but pre-reviews have already praised Final Fantasy XV for its engaging story, superb gameplay, absorbing world and tough characters. There are plenty of spoilers for excited gamers, too.

Final Fantasy XV will bring you into a lengthy quest of exploring the world where post-industrial modern elements and breathtaking fantasy abound. Bandersnatch will also have a more terrifying version and there is a new death spell to look forward, too. Moogles have a gameplay footage and players can use them as "dolls" to either heal, give rewards, or imitate players and have adversaries assault them instead.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Two weeks after it premiered in the U.K., trailer views for Red Dead Redemption 2 have already passed another milestone by reaching the eight million mark. Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, already believes that this year will be one of their best thanks to the second installment of Red Dead Redemption.

Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two CEO, said that their strategy is to always deliver creative content - something that they almost always achieve anyway. The eight-million views for Red Dead Redemption 2 are proof enough that their "high" expectations are met and even exceeded. This is not really surprising given that their latest title, GTA 5, has reached more than 70 million units in shipment.

Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

It has been rumored that Nintendo would remain mum on further updates regarding the Switch. On the other hand, game developers who will work on games for the Switch is a different matter.  Nintendo has hinted from before that the Legend of Zelda might be available on the Switch.

However, gaming websites and gamers are in doubt with how the Switch might perform. One issue is that the Switch's frame rate might be unstable. The color saturation can also be a problem. Of course, the highest point of concern is the Switch's performance. But given that the Switch is scheduled for release next year, there would still be time for the Switch to upgrade its performance and handle Breath of the Wild.
