'Outlander' Star Sam Heughan Dating Mackenzie Mauzy? Couple Attended BAFTA Awards In Scotland

"Outlander" star Sam Heughan recently confirmed that he is not dating his co-star Caitriona Balfe despite many eager fans pushing for them to have a real relationship. So if it's not his co-star, then who is he dating?

Rumor has it that the 36-year-old actor is dating rising star Mackenzie Mauzy. The two recently appeared at the BAFTA Awards in Scotland and seem very happy with each other's company. The "Outlander" actor proudly escorted the stunning young actress during the said event and fans were quick to notice the chemistry between the two.

Although no confirmation has been made, the two seem to have a good relationship to begin with. Recently, Heughan came to Mauzy's defense during a series of online bullying, after the actress posted a photo of the Scottish Highlands on her Instagram account. The actor requested for online bashers to stop hating on Mauzy.

"Please stop this. Spread this bile and pettiness elsewhere. NO-ONE deserves to be treated this way. I'm disgusted and shameful," the actor commented on the said photo. Heughan even reiterated his request on his own Twitter page, saying, "Shameful behavior by many on social media recently. It's disgusting and needs to stop. Spineless bullying. Stop. Now."

The actor's gestures of defending the "Into The Woods" actress added fuel to speculations that the two are indeed dating. There were even claims that Mauzy is definitely Heughan's type given that he has dated gorgeous blondes before as well.
Meanwhile, prior to her alleged relationship with the "Outlander" actor, Mauzy was married to stage actor John Arthur Greene but ended up getting a divorce. The actress was also linked to actor Billy Magnussen.

So far, Heughan and Mauzy have not confirmed or denied the dating rumors being thrown at them. Fans will have to wait and see if the two will actually admit the real score between them in the next days to come.
