Fans are eagerly waiting what could happen in the second season of 'Stranger Things'. With the ending of its first season, fans are left with unanswered questions and mind-boggling theories of what could happen next. But producer Shawn Levy admitted that the upcoming installment would be a lot interesting and exciting than it is now.
Stranger Things Has New Characters For Its Second Season
According to Game Spot, the producer, Shawn, revealed what could happen in the Netflix hit series. He told in an interview that fans should wait and see new characters that would come for the second season. However, he also promises that your favorite characters from Season 1 would still be the top priority of the show.
There are several new characters who I think several of them are going to be new fan-favorites because they're great, great new characters,"
"But we are definitely sticking primarily with our core group..."
Recent updates told that Sean Astin and Paul Reiser would form part of the cast for the Season 2. Not just that, Linnea Berthelsen would also be added in the all-star cast.
'Stranger Things' Characters Are Not Expected To Be Normal After Season 1
Also, Shawn admitted that the main characters would try to go back in their normal life even after what happened in its first season. However, Levy thinks it would be impossible.
"Will Byers was in that Upside Down for a while. So Season 2 is about this determined desire to return to normalcy in Hawkins, in the Byers family, in that group of friends, and it's the struggle to reclaim normalcy and maybe the impossibility of it."
The producer also revealed that the production team are already dreaming of what could happen in its third season.
"We are not gonna be caught off guard and we don't wanna be making stuff up like the day before we have to write it and make it, so we are definitely optimistic and we have started thinking ahead,"
Stranger Things Season 2 is expected to air next year, 2017.
