According to Thundershot69, a famous streamer that often times give DBXV2 tips, one of the easiest way to clear Missions 16 and 17 is to maintain a relatively close distance with Vegetta and Goku and spam your Ki Attacks, in this case, he is using Metal Cooler (which by the way, his favorite character when clearing all Expert Missions). Keep in mind that unlike in Expert Mission 15 where you have to fight numerous characters, both 16 and 17 only entails fighting one character at a time and are relatively weak in comparison to Expert Mission 15.

So basically, you just have to spam the mix between special and ultimate attacks to deal as much damage as possible during the time limit. Also keep in mind that if you're playing offline (with bots) then you have to chase them down first and spam Death Beam before lowering their stamina and then cast Supernova once their stamina breaks.

Expert Mission 16 and 17 are a lot easier to finish when online but if you're having a hard time getting people into a party then you can always opt to play with bots. Always remember to get close to them as the bots may knock the character faraway which may lead to your ultimate attacks missing the target. Aside from that, there's not much of a strategy to go around these guys. If done properly, this is by far the best way to farm TP Medals as you can easily clear each mission in just 3-4 minutes.
