Destiny Guide: Which Strategies To Use To Beat Aksis & Vosik In Wrath Of The Machine Challenge Mode

Just two weeks after Bungie first released the Hard Mode on Destiny: Rise of Iron, the developer also rolled out another extreme dare to the Guardians with the new Challenge Mode. This playstyle requires players a particular strategy to get the distinct extra loot drops. Guardians will only go through two challenges, however, they don't come easy. Here's a guide on which strategies to use to beat bosses Aksis and Vosik on Destiny: Rise of Iron's Wrath of the Machine raid.

Wrath Of The Machine Challenge Mode - Vosik Strategy

Wrath of the Machine opens the Vosik Challenge Mode right off the bat. Regardless if you are on Normal or Hard Mode, this challenge brings you to four Clean Rooms and shut them down using grenades that drop during the damage phase before taking out the boss.

By far, there are three most common and efficient ways to accomplish the Vosik Challenge Mode. First, while on the Clean Room stage, Guardians must occupy two rooms at the same time, and expend the two grenades that drop during the damage point to shut them down. Second, after two phases, all four Clean Rooms will be used for good. Third, Vosik needs to be killed.

During the damage phase, the team needs to split up in two. Each team should carry a bomb. When moving to a Clean Room, each should take a bomb and each must occupy a Clean Room. During the second phase, only Clean Rooms that are not previously occupied will be opened. During the third phase, you need to kill Vosik. Use the bombs to inflict more damage.

Wrath Of The Machine Challenge Mode - Aksis Strategy

At the end of Wrath of the Machine, the team will face off against the final boss, Aksis. Regardless if you are on Normal or Hard Mode, the Aksis Challenge Mode needs at least one Guardian in the team to supercharge before overwhelming the boss on every teleport, not just once per phase but as Aksis moves.

Supercharging is when one of the three plates set alight on each teleport. When supercharged, Guardians can unleash the power onto one of the plates. This will reflect on the rest of the team members' Supers. Remember that only one plate will ignite each teleport, and it won't appear on the same side where Aksis teleport to. Finally, the Guardian who will stun Aksis should be the one close to him where he teleports to.

Wrath Of The Machine Challenge Mode - Rewards

Upon finishing Wrath of the Machine Challenge Mode, the successful team will be able to receive an addition chest with extra loot drop with the respective of either Normal or Hard Mode; Vosik's Venom Emblem; Exotic Engram (Hard Mode only); and SIVA Ornament (Hard Mode only).
