NBA Trade Rumors: Kings Trading DeMarcus Cousins Says Shaquille O’Neal; Celtics Trading James Young and Terry Rozier to Kings?

The latest NBA trade rumors suggest that the Sacramento Kings would like to trade DeMarcus Cousins because of his volatile personality. Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics are also thinking of trading James Young and Terry Rozier to the Sacramento Kings. Do these rumors contain some credibility?

Do The Sacramento Kings Have Had Enough Of Cousins?

The NBA trade rumors surrounding Demarcus Cousins apparently originated from Shaquille O'Neal. He has a small ownership stake in Sacramento Kings and voiced out his feelings at his TNT halftime regarding the issue. He candidly hinted that a major cause of the team's current struggles is Cousins. He said the lion's share of their problems can be laid down at Cousins' feet.

"In the past, he's made a lot of mistakes," O'Neal said. "He's been hot-headed. He hasn't shown great leadership qualities yet," he explained. The former NBA All-Star player also predicted that the team's management could be facing a decision soon fi they will move on without Cousins in the future. "I'm hearing talk of it," O'Neal continued. "If things don't start to become correct, then they may be looking to go in a different direction," he added.

Do The Kings Have More Big Men Than They Need?

With so many big men on the Kings' roster, not everyone could enjoy adequate playing time. One of these displaced big men in Sacramento Kings is Cauley Stein, who is allegedly displeased with his situation. One of the NBA trade rumors that indicate he may also be on the way out. This rumor probably originated from Marc Stein of ESPN.

"Keep an eye on Kings big man Willie Cauley-Stein," said Stein. "Word is Sacramento is open to moving the second-year big man, who wants more of a role than he has under new Kings coach Dave Joerger," he added. There are NBA trade rumors that he might probably be moved to the Boston Celtics. In exchange, the Celtics will trade James Young and Terry Rozier to the Kings.
