'19 Kids And Counting' Cast Updates: Jim Bob And Michelle Duggar Slam Divorce Rumors; 'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' Not Canceled

The "19 Kids and Counting" reality series has long been canceled but couple Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are still plagued with countless rumors. The latest to surface claimed the Duggar parents to be on the brink of divorce. With a tabloid exposing their supposed marital issues, Jim and Michelle finally broke their silence and debunked all rumors with them kissing for a photo shot.

The Duggar Couple Slams Divorce Rumors

Jim and Michelle, a married couple of 32 years, have been plagued by endless divorce rumors. However, the Duggar parents remained strong amid speculations and responded to rumors through a perfect photograph they posted on Twitter. In the photo, Jim held a copy of the magazine that claimed to jot down concrete reasons on why the couple is divorcing. They tweeted: "Don't believe everything you read in the tabloids! Michelle and I have been married for over 32 years and are more in love than ever!"

The Gossip Magazine Targeting The Duggars

It can be remembered that "In Touch" magazine was the same publication that contributed to the cancelation of "19 Kids and Counting" in 2015. It claimed to have secured copies of Josh Duggar's police records, following his molestation scandal. The magazine revealing the controversy caught the eyes of everyone on the issue. Producers then backed out one after the other which led to TLC axing the series. The family got a spinoff opportunity though through "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" which was later picked up for a full season. This then brought the Duggars back into the spotlight.

With Jim and Michelle reappearing on TV, the tabloid once again delves into the lives of the Duggars and this time, it is the parents that it is targeting.

The publication noted that the family is currently suffering from financial crisis. The repulsive scandal that Josh got involved in is also pointed out as one of the reason why Jim and Michelle want to split. The resurfacing of the scandal is said to cause "Jill & Jessa: Counting On's" impending cancelation. With the Duggars allegedly struggling with their finances, and with the possibility of canceling their source of income, the family is said to be in a chaotic status as of the moment.

However, these rumors seem hard for fans to believe as the recent wedding of Jeremy Vuolo and Jinger Duggar's showed how intact the family is. Fans may recall that it is Jim and Michelle's Christian values that appealed greatly to audiences. With the couple's high regards with marriage, the family is said to stay solid despite controversies, and that their show will still continue to inspire their followers.
