Kang Dong Joo (Yoo Yun Suk) will decide to stay at Doldam Hospital in "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" episode 5. He has previously handed his resignation but he will change his mind after realizing Teacher Kim (Han Suk Kyu) was the one who helped him in the past. Do In Bum (Yang Se Jong) will visit Doldam and more about Teacher Kim's dark past will be revealed.
In "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" episode 3, Kang Dong Joo busted his final chance to go back to Geodae Hospital because there were many patients that Friday. Fridays seems like a very big deal to Doldam Hospital and there was an abnormal number of accidents. But Dong Joo is still determined to leave Doldam, he doesn't like Teacher Kim or the eerie hospital so he said anywhere is better for him.
However, he starts to reconsider the decision by the end of "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" episode 4. He witnessed Teacher Kim doing his strange way of treating patients again and heard him say the same exact line he said when he saved Dong Joo: "If you don't change, nothing will change."
Dong Joo remembered the words and asked if he was Dr. Boo Yong Joo but Teacher Kim told him he has no other name aside from Teacher Kim. Yet Dong Joo is convinced that he is indeed the doctor who saved him before. However, it is not just Dong Joo who got a clue of his identity, President Do of Geodae Hospital saw him on a CCTV video. The president of Doldam covered for him but we can expect his cover will be blown up in the next few episodes. In the "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" episode 5 preview someone is saying in the background that Dr. Boo Yong Joo left Geodae Hospital because he killed his student who followed and trusted him.
Now that he knew Teacher Kim's identity, Dong Joo will stay in Doldam Hospital. He would surely be curious how a great doctor like him changed his name and stayed in a strange hospital. He has also idolized Dr. Boo Yong Joo since he was a child and said he would become a good doctor like him. At least this main character isn't staying because of his one-sided love to Dr. Yoon Seo Jung (Seo Hyun Jin) though that may be a part of the reason. Their relationship has not changed since that kiss in first episode but it looks like Dong Joo will make some advances in the upcoming episodes.
In Bum will visit Doldam Hospital. If we remember, he became interested in Doldam after hearing that Dong Joo and Dr. Yoon are there. It seems like he has some history with Dr. Yoon. In the preview, we saw her greeting Im Bum with familiarity while Dong Joo bursted into the room. Meanwhile, Teacher Kim will tell the casino president about his dream. Does it have something to do with the hospital equipment he was asking him to sponsor?
