LA Auto Show Unveiling: 2018 Genesis G80 3.3T

Genesis Motors, Hyundai's premium brand just unveiled a beast of a car as they debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. The premium brand introduced the all-new 2018 Genesis G80 3.3T Sport that looks more like a refreshed version of the Hyundai Genesis. The 2 018 version is still a full-size luxury sedan that has a meaner and more aggressive look. The G80 was previously released in Korea summer and have just brought the car to the American market.

The G80 Comes In A Power Packed Engine

The G80 Sport is powered by a 3.3liter twin turbo V6 engine that puts out a total of 365-horse power and 376 pound-feet of torque. It is equipped with an eight-speed gearbox and the suspension has been sport-tuned and is enhanced by its continuous damping control. The transmission is the same as the ones found in other G80 models but the sports variant has been calibrated to give a more sporty driving experience. In addition to the updates is a new set of bigger brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, and quad exhaust setup.

Inside, genuine carbon fiber is used and placed as trims, elegant black microfiber suede headliner, a thick and sporty steering wheel, and comfortable sports seats dressed in either black or gray leather. The infotainment system and technology comes with a 9.2 -inch touch screen display, navigation system, wireless charging, Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Premium sound can be achieved with the cars 17 speakers sound system.

The G80 Gets A Refreshed Look

Hyundai has also tweaked the way the Genesis looks by adding dark satin trimmings on the bodywork. Dark chrome honeycomb grille can be found in front, along with sport rock moldings, unique lower front and rear fascia that gives the G80 Sport a more aggressive look. The 2018 Genesis G80 Sport is expected to hit the market in spring and will be offered in either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive options.
