Pokemon Go Update: v0.47.1 APK Is Out; Thanksgiving Event To Arrive Soon?

Niantic has recently rolled out a minor update for their augmented reality game Pokemon Go. Apparently, v0.47.1 patch has not yet officially uploaded on both PlayStores yet. However, an APK has been leaked a couple of hours ago and data miners are now exploring the newly updated version of the game. These data miners are hoping to find new information that the company integrates on the game code.

According to the report from Pokemon Go Hub, Niantic is fond of planting references in the code base for the players and data miners to explore. It was reported that the new APK offers no major news, however, there is one interesting fact that brings out the curiosity out of these data miners. Based on the news, they are not sure whether Niantic is trolling and laughing really hard as of now or just planting small hints that would eventually prove critical as time passes.

The data mined information shows three new sponsors for PokeStops in Pokemon GO and their names are unbelievable. These are the Spatula, Thermometer and Knife. One thing these data miner had in mind is that Niantic probably hinted something that points directly to a possible Thanksgiving Event.

Based on the report, the three new sponsors are the basis of their claim since those are the common tools used during Thanksgiving for preparing traditional such as Thermometer for measuring the turkey temperature, Knife to slice the turkey and Spatula to take out and serve pie pieces.

For further clarification, the claim of having a Thanksgiving event has not confirmed yet since Niantic is still silent regarding the matter. In addition, fans are hoping that this data mined information will be the first step for another major event of Pokemon Go prior to this upcoming Holiday season. Meanwhile, let us just wait for Niantic's official announcement.
