Pokemon Go Update: Here's Why Trading or Tracker Feature Could Be The 'Next Big Thing'

Pokemon Go is expected to add more features soon as Niantic is confirming some of the rumored feature additions during previous interviews. While these features' release dates are yet to be confirmed, some players are hyped to witness the arrival of these most-anticipated content addition to the game. Several features are now being added to Pokemon Go since the day it was launched such as Appraisal, Buddy Pokemon System, Daily Quests and more. Recently, it was heavily rumored that the Trading and Tracking features together with the Gen 2 update will be the Next Big Thing for Pokemon Go.

According to the report from Otakukart, the "Nearby" tracking feature has been made available exclusively for San Francisco players. While it was being geo locked, Niantic has released an alternative tracking system replacing the conventional 3-step tracking feature. As a result, players are complaining about the current tracking system and are settling for third-party tracking apps. However, it was recently reported that the Nearby Tracking System has been extended to other cities and will be expected to arrive hopefully by the end of the year or earlier.

As of now, the Nearby Tracking System is available in 3 American cities, which seems to be running smoothly. Cities like San Francisco, Seattle and parts of Arizona are now enjoying the benefits of the new tracking feature. However, the primary concern regarding this feature is that it might cause a similar problem with the latter 3-step feature when it will be publicly released. It was believed that features coming that are geo-locked could potentially be corrupted when it is launched into a larger audience.

On the other hand, Trading System feature has also been rumored since the game was launched. Though John Hanke, Niantic CEO, confirms the addition of trading, we still have not yet seen any beta lock version about the feature. Overall, it is exciting to see how Pokemon Go will look like when these features will arrive.
