Final Fantasy 15 Day One Patch Officially Announced

Final Fantasy XV is one of the longest running RPG franchise in the gaming world so far. The upcoming game, along with its next installment, had its release date pushed back from Sept. 30 to Nov. 29.  With the new schedule in tow, players might be able to download the day one patch before the game is launched.

Final Fantasy XV Day One Patch Leaked

In a recent twitter post, the official Final Fantasy XV explained the patch and that it is now available for download. The patch for the Final Fantasy XV was discovered by gamers who are playing the game earlier than its scheduled release, Tech Times reported.

A leaked information of the patch hints various bug fixes, new items, cut scenes, adjustment to cut scenes and deeper combat mechanics along with other features. Gadgets reported that the day one patch named the Crown Update includes camera improvements that will make it easier for a player to track action in narrow areas as well as new event scenes from "Kingsglaive."

The wait mode function automatically halts the game when a player stops using the command inputs. Monster whistle, a new additional feature, can also be used to call out monsters in the game. Recipes, fish varieties and a gallery await those who enjoy collecting items. More so, a social network function will be added. This allows players to upload Final Fantasy photographs to Facebook and Twitter.

Final Fantasy XV Director Apologizes for the Game's Leaks

After the leak circulated on the internet within a day, Final Fantasy Director Hajime Tabata took the matter in his hands and addressed it in a recent press conference.

"We are nearing the release date of November 29. I'm wishing from the bottom of my heart that everyone will get to enjoy the game with a fresh new feeling. However, we've confirmed that some packages of Final Fantasy XV have been released around some parts of the world, with gameplay videos being uploaded to the Internet. This may be inevitable due to regional circumstances, but it's something we regret very much."

Tabata explained that the company will do everything to prevent the spread of spoiler videos. Final Fantasy XV is scheduled to be released in Nov. 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
