Uncharted 4 Single Player DLC: Sam Drake In, Nathan Drake Out

Just when we thought that Naughty Dog totally forgot when it said that it is going to release an Uncharted 4 Single Player DLC post-launch. And now we can finally heave our sighs of relief as the game company just confirmed that the DLC is indeed coming. Thank you, Naughty Dog!

As we can recall, Naughty Dog mentioned that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is going to receive a single player DLC soon after the game has been launched. And now that the highly-acclaimed action-adventure video game is six months old, we have to admit, we were about to start forgetting about it. Until now, that is.

Uncharted 4 Single-Player DLC

An insider from Sony told Jaffameister that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End DLC will soon be revealed at the December event of the PlayStation Experience. And guess what, those able to attend will be lucky enough to get a hands-on experience with it. So if you do get the opportunity to go, don't dare waste it! Or at least provide us some juicy details on the Uncharted 4 DLC.

Uncharted 4 DLC to focus on Sam, Sully

Additionally, the Uncharted 4 DLC will now mainly focus on Samuel (Sam) Drake, Nathan's brother. The said single player DLC is also going to veer the spotlight away from Nathan to Sully, his partner in crime. For those who are unsure who these people are, Nathan Drake is the main protagonist and playable character in the Uncharted games. But don't worry, Nathan will most likely show up but won't be the significant character here.

Uncharted 4 Cassie

Uncharted 4 Single-Player DLC is also reported to be a "self-contained story" and will be longer than The Last of Us DLC, Left Behind. Now here's something interesting: Cassie, Nathan's daughter, will not be in the upcoming DLC which led to the many speculations that Cassie will most likely take over the "hero" part of the Uncharted series moving forward. Did you remember the Uncharted 4 ending? The theory somehow fits, right? So if you haven't played Uncharted 4 yet, sorry for the many spoilers.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End DLC doesn't have a confirmed release date as of yet but then it might come out on the first quarter of 2017. The PlayStation Experience event, on the other hand, will be held in Anaheim, CA on Dec. 3-4. For more Uncharted, take a look at Uncharted 4 Survival Co-op Mode trailer below.
