Nintendo Switch Game Update: Monolith Soft Brings Xenoblade Chronicles To Switch?

Upcoming Nintendo Switch game titles now include the Xenoblade Chronicles series. There are rumors that Monolith Soft will release a Switch port version on 2017.

Xenoblade X Port Job

Monolith Soft is not going to do the Xenoblade X porting job, according to a Tweet post by Laura Dale. The developer has given the port development project to another third party. The ported Xenoblade X game will reportedly accompany the Switch on its launch date.

Is Monolith Developing a New Switch Game?

The Xenoblade X developer will instead develop a brand new game for the upcoming Nintendo Switch, according to Dale. She thinks that the earliest launch date of the new Switch game is on 2018.

Basis for Xenoblade X Port Rumor

A number of gaming industry observers tend to agree with Dale's prediction about the Xenoblade X porting project for the Nintendo Switch. Even the Japanese game maker also hands out porting jobs of its game titles to third parties. Nintendo games including a Legend of Zelda series was ported by Tantalus while a Donkey Kong game title was given to Monster Games for porting. Pundits also believed that Nintendo would prefer Monolith to develop a new Switch game title than port an old game.

Breath of the Wild Release Date Rumor

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was supposed to be the bundled game of Nintendo Switch or at least launched simultaneously. However, it has already been confirmed that the upcoming Zelda game will come out a little later on 2017. Dale predicts that Breath of the Wild will probably come out on June 2016. She posted another Tweet claiming that Nintendo is aiming for a June 16, 2017 release

The Nintendo Switch is scheduled to come out on March 2017 and its premium version is expected to be bundled with a Super Mario game title. Numerous Switch games such Skyrim will also be included in its debut.
