New looks, more power and more fun. Some say, this is the perfect combination for a good car and this is exactly what the 2017 Subaru BRZ offers. The 2017 Subaru BRZ is sporting a new look, had a power upgrade and just got a lot more fun to drive.

2017 Subaru BRZ New Looks

Although the changes made in the 2017 Subaru BRZ are not very flashy, it still provided the new model a new look. According to a report from Car and Driver, the 2017 Subaru BRZ has a new LED headlight that is paired with a bumper cover that has been altered in a mild manner. The rear section features include a new spoiler in the rear section along with full-LED taillights that will be available on both trims together with new 10-spoke wheels. The interior is just as beautiful on the outside with a new steering wheel, 2.4-inch LCD that shows the driver how the car is performing in terms of steering angle, lap times and g-force in lateral braking.

2017 Subaru BRZ Powertrain

The power upgrade is not very big. Auto Focus reported that the 2017 Subaru BRZ now has a 205 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque, a mild upgrade from the 200 hp and 151 lb-ft torque from the previous model but an upgrade nonetheless. It was mentioned in the same report that the power upgrade will only be available in manual transmission while the automatic gearbox retains the previous power output.

More Fun To Drive

Most new model cars these days are packed with so many features in technology for car control. While some people think it's helpful, others find it taking away all the fun in driving. The 2017 Subaru has its fair share of technology features but still allows the driver a great level of engagement with the car as they drive. Simply put that the 2017 Subaru is designed for people that get a lot of fun out of driving.
