Randy Pitchford Tease Fans With A Duke Nukem And Gears Of War Game Hybrid

Recently, Gearbox Software's Randy Pitchford replied to a tweet of a fan. It might be a clue to a Duke Nukem and Gears of War crossover. Considering that both games have different developers, it is most likely not to happen anytime soon. But, Pitchford's tweet might be referring to a hybrid game. Fans can only hope that the announcement on Dec. 1 could be about the big crossover of both games.

Randy Pitchford's Tweet Might Be Referring To A Gears of War To Duke Nukem Hybrid

It is clear that Duke Nukem and Gears of War have different companies. Due to this, it is believed that it would take a long time before a crossover happens. Rumors suggest that Pitchford's tweet may not be referring to a Gears of War crossover, but a game from their own company. Also, many believe that Pitchford may be referring to an upcoming game of their own, which could be similar to Gears of War.

Randy Pitchford's Tweet Could Just Be A New Game And Not A Crossover

According to the replied tweet of Pitchford, which can be seen below, they will be announcing something that fans will definitely enjoy. Knowing that the tweet Pitchford replied to is about a fan looking for a crossover of Duke Nukem and Gears of War; it is safe to say that the announcement on Dec. 1 could be related to it. Having another new first person shooter for Gearbox might be a bit repetitive, so updating or having another sequel from their old games might be a good idea. Rumors also suggest that it could be a remaster announcement, as the company has a lot of old games.

Meanwhile, fans can look forward to the 80 percent discount of Duke Nukem Forever on Steam this Black Friday.
