'Legends Of Tomorrow' Season 2 Episode 8 (Midseason Finale) Spoilers: Legends Head To 1927 Chicago; Captain Cold Returns?

The Legends will find themselves in 1927 Chicago in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 8 titled "The Chicago Way." The heroes will also clash for the first time against supervillain group the Legion of Doom, while Stein will be taken captive. The episode is directed by Ralph Hemecker and written by Sarah Nicole Jones and Ray Utarnachittm. Guest stars include Matt Letscher, Neal McDonough and John Barrowman.

In "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 7, the series concluded the epic crossover which began in "The Flash" season 3, episode 8 and was continued in "Arrow" season 5, episode 8. The collaboration teamed up the Legends with Green Arrow, Supergirl and the Flash against aggressive alien invaders called the Dominators.

"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 8 will feature the members of the supervillain group, the Legion of Doom for the first time. According to the official synopsis, the Legends will discover a new Time Aberration that will lead them to 1927 Chicago. They will discover they were set up by the Legion of Doom members, Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and their newest recruit Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).  

Stein (Victor Garber) will share a secret with the Legend and will later be taken captive. Sara (Caity Lotz) will be forced to decide whether to stop the Legion or save Stein while Rory will be surprised by an unexpected visitor -- Captain Cold?  "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 8 preview shows the return of Captain Cold, one of their allies in season 1 who now became a member of the Legion. The preview also shows the Legion will make a deal with a real life historical figure, Al Capone, an American gangster and crime boss, and try to distort history.

"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 8 "The Chicago Way" will air on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. ET on CW. Watch the preview below:
