It's a good time for Naught Dog as they announced another exciting news for another game, Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy. They said that this DLC is a standalone game where the main protagonists will be an unlikely pairing.
The announcement came during the Playstation 2017 conference last week. The game developer said that Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy will take place in India. The setting of the game takes place just after the main game. And since this is a standalone DLC, you don't need the main game to play this.
Aside from this, Naughty Dog also referred to it as a story expansion and not a DLC. They also added that its gameplay will be longer than the Last of Us: Left Behind but shorter than the main game.
It will explore a new storyline and will have more parts. Moreover, since it will also focus on the concept of new linear, it will be more open than Uncharted: 4. It will also try to understand who Chloe is and the relationship between Nadine and Chloe.
The developer also stated that Chloe will be very different from Nathan Drakes aside from the fact that she is a female and Nathan was male. They said that Chloe will be the biggest driver of the show with amazing and unique fight style and move sets.
Another different thing about this stroy expansion that fans might miss is the supernatural element of the story. As Naughty Dogs said, this will be more grounded than Uncharted 4.
Uncharted 4: Lost Legacy will be available in 2017 although there isn't any confirmation about a specific date yet.
