"Timeless" episode 10 will be the key to uncovering the biggest mystery in the series - why Flynn wants to change the course of history. The answers could lie during the time of the American Revolution. Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), and Wyatt (Matt Lanter) need to meet the Father of the Country and the infamous Benedict Arnold.

"Timeless" Episode 9: Bonnie, Clyde, And Henry Ford's Key

"Timeless" episode 9 brought the trio face to face with Bonnie and Clyde back in 1934. Meanwhile, in the present, Lucy attempted to open a bank account while Wyatt tried to study a photo with the key when Bonnie and Clyde popped up for a bank heist. Flynn showed up and the three group exchanged fire.

Thanks to the confusion, Bonnie and Clyde together with Lucy and Wyatt got away from Flynn. They successfully convinced the bank robbers that they were in the same league. Bonnie and Clyde admitted that the key was stolen from Henry Ford. Lucy asked to see the key and she saw that the key was distinctive because of Latin markings that meant the beginning and end of all time. The cops traced their location and as the authorities closed in on them, Flynn grabbed the keys from Bonnie and fled.

"Timeless" Episode 10: Of Countries, Loyalties And Men

In "Timeless" episode 10, the time travelers will meet Benedict Arnold, America's first traitor. The trio goes back to 1780, the American Revolution where they get to meet George Washington. After getting to know more about history, they begin questioning whether they are doing the right thing by preventing Flynn from changing things.

In the teaser, Lucy goes face to face with Flynn and the villain points a gun at her. She begs him not to pull the trigger. In the latest spoilers released by NBC, the trio is expected to make a suspicious pact. They will also need to face the fact that soon, they may no longer be a trio.

"Timeless" Episode 10 "The Capture of Benedict Arnold" will air on Monday, Dec. 12 on NBC at 10 p.m.
