Demi Moore Wants Ashton Kutcher Alimony: Divorce Filing Heats Up

Actress Demi Moore filed paperwork in a Los Angeles court Thursday, seeking alimony payments from her soon to be ex, actor Ashton Kutcher.

In her response to Kutcher's December divorce petition, Moore cites "irreconcilable differences" and requests spousal support as well as payment of attorney's fees. Her court filing did not specify the amount sought.

Kutcher has retained celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser while Moore hired New York attorney William Beslow.

Moore and Kutcher wed in 2005 and were separated in November 2011 after 22-year-old San Diego resident Sara Leal claimed she had a long running affair with the actor.

Moore, 50, has been married to three men. In 1980, she married singer Freddy Moore. The pair divorced five years later. Moore later married her second husband, actor Bruce Willis. She and Willis have three daughters together: 25-year-old Rumer, 22-year-old Scout and 18-year-old Tallulah. The couple divorced in October 2000.

While Moore and Kutcher have no children to fight over, the courtroom battle could become tabloid fodder as the pair argue over the financial terms of any potential settlement.

Kutcher, who currently stars in the CBS television comedy "Two and a Half Men," earns an estimated $25 million for replacing Charlie Sheen on the hit show. Kutcher is also an investor in several high-profile Internet tech start-ups.

Moore, once Hollywood's highest-earning actress, has not had a mega-hit in some time but, according to media reports, is not hurting for money.

Kutcher is currently dating "Family Guy" star Mila Kunis.
