Apple iPhone 8 Rumors: Red Colored iPhone Could Show Up Next Year

The iPhone 8 continuously star each tech blog with new rumors pertaining to its release. However, recent reports suggest that all those past accumulated iPhone 8 rumors aren't true at all. As odd as it may seem, but there are new claims saying that an iPhone 7S and 7S Plus will show up instead of the iPhone 8.

Apple iPhone 7S and 7S Plus Rumored

GSM Arena said that there are new claims about the next iPhone being the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus. The blog also suggests that if this rumor is true, there will be no edge-to-edge screen, no glass body and no wireless charging for the 2017 iPhone. Instead, the iPhone 7 and 7S Plus will show up with an A11 processor. Also, a red-colored variant could be included in the said iPhone series. This info has been snooped from an unnamed supplier located in Taiwan.

Apple iPhone 2017

At this point in time there is still no clarity as to which rumor is true. In fact, there is still a good chance that all these rumors are true despite contradiction. Take note that next year's iPhone is the tenth iPhone series, making it an anniversary iPhone. With that said, the iPhone 2017 should be made special. Therefore, there could be one special iPhone, and two regular releases, making the 7s and 7S Plus rumors still feasible. Sure, the name "iPhone 8" could be debunked, but it still cannot water the fire that screams anniversary iPhone.

Apple 2017 Release Date

Needless to say, the best thing fans could do right now is to just wait and see. As of now, the next iPhone is still predicted to get a September launch. A special release date for an alleged special iPhone is an entirely different story though. Needless to say, fans can expect more rumors and leaks to come out as time pass by and as the smartphone market gets nearer to the actual iPhone 2017 launch.
