When Will 'South Park' Season 21 Debut? Hollywood A-lister Teased To Guest As Voice Actor

After season 20 successfully wrapped up last Wednesday, Dec. 7, "South Park" season 21 has already been confirmed by Comedy Central to air in 2017. Leaving a few cliffhangers, the next installment has been teased to feature a Hollywood A-lister as guest voice appearance.

"South Park" Season 21 Air Date

Back in July 2015, Comedy Central announced that "South Park" is slated to be aired until its 23rd season. The question now is when "South Park" season 21 will air. The network has not released yet any official statement confirming a release date. However, it can be expected to return next year. There have already been predictions that the adult comedy series will be back by September 2017 for series 21 since it has been the tradition in the last several seasons.

"South Park" Season 21 Spoilers

In the meantime, there has not been any word as well with regard to what fans can expect from the upcoming season. Expectedly though, season 21 should be full of Matt Stone and Trey Parker's signature wit and humor in the characters of four potty-mouthed, trash-talking grade schoolers. According to a report from Bustle, the next installment will pick up from where the season 20 finale left, which includes the events after TrollTrace's launch, SpaceX's future and the kids' unified effort to save the world from destruction. It remains unknown too if season 21 will continue to be serialized instead of going back to episodes, each with individual storyline.

"South Park" Season 21 Guest Star

After self-confessed fan George Clooney and several other actors like Jennifer Aniston, Jonathan Katz, Nathasha Henstridge, Michael Buffer and Toddy Walters made voice appearances in the previous seasons, fans should be wondering now who could be gracing the next season's episodes. According to recent reports, a Hollywood A-lister is set to make a guest appearance for one episode in season 21. However, no definite name has been dropped and that's what fans should watch out for in 2017.
