Rocket League News: Starbase Arc Update Is Finally Live, What's New?

Rocket League just got updated with Starbase Arc. The update includes a new car and arena. The players can now download the update to experience a better gameplay and to enjoy the new features. Psyonix is sure that the latest update will give more excitement to the players.

Starbase Arc And Vulcan In Rocket League

Starbase Arc brought a space-themed car named Vulcan in Rocket League. An arena has also been added carrying the same name of the update. According to iDigital Times, there are other additions to the game such as starship battles and planetoids.

The Starbase Arc is a map that is octagon in shape, as per GameSpot. This is where the battleships will be held in Rocket League. However, the Vulcan is a paid DLC for $2. The vehicle and map are ibased on the Psyonix' mobile game Arc Squadron.

Custom Training Mode In Rocket League

Besides the Starbase Arc and Vulcan, players can do custom training mode in Rocket League. In the new mode, the players are allowed to create their own map, choose from two different training sequences such as Striker or Goalie and get to describe their own training sequences.

The training mode also includes Steam Workshop support. Players using Unreal Engine UDK 3 can create their own map in Steam. Also, the players can choose if they like or dislike a certain customized arena with Arena Preference Selector.

The custom training mode includes the Champion Series IV Crate. Two variant arenas such as Wasteland and Utopia Colesium are also added. X-Devil and Gizmo have been improved in terms of their designs. Lastly, The Color Blind mode will help the players adjust the blue and orange shades in the game.

Rocket League made sure that the Starbase Arc update will make the game more interesting because of its new features. Hopefully, players will be even busier with custom training mode and Vulcan. Psyonix is creating a whole new and different space world for the players.
