The new Christmas event of 'Overwatch' Winter Wonderland is now ready and players are very excited about the new content. According to reports, the update will also include new voice lines, skins, sprays and even new decorations in the game's maps. It is entirely up to the players if they wish to buy or earn the new items in the game.

Try Your Lock With The Loot Bags

Players that have decided to try their luck with loot bags were able to get voice lines, sprays, highlight intros, icons, epic skins, poses, emotes, legendary emotes, and of course legendary skins including Santa mei, Santa Torb and Elf Tracers. Players that have received duplicates exchange it for gold.

For players thinking of buying the previous seasonal items in the game, they can also buy it now but for thrice the price. This includes the Ice Ghoul Reaper, Yeti Winston and even legendary emote for Zarya. Players who tried their luck with loot boxes received about 25 percent of legendary items from 100 boxes they opened which is a good ratio actually.

Winter Wonderland Event Duration

And just like the other big events of 'Overwatch', the items from this event will only be available within the season. When the event ends, all the new items, including skins will be locked for purchase in the game. For players who wish to earn the Winter Loot Boxes in the game, they just need to level up as much as possible within the season. Each loot box will contain a random item but guarantees at least one item from the Winter Wonderland event in it.

The event is scheduled to run from December 13 until January 2 next year. As mentioned earlier, all items available in the event will no longer be available after the event so players are encouraged to get everything they want before the event concludes.
