'Vikings' Season 4, Episode 14 Spoilers: Ragnar Negotiates With King Ecbert; Aslaug Drops Her Weapon To Lagertha

It looks like Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) has some brilliant plan in his mind. After deliberately getting caught, he will try to negotiate with King Ecbert (Linus Roache) in "Vikings" season 4, episode 14. Meanwhile, it is the battle between the ex-wife and the current wife as Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) confronts Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) to fulfill her lifelong dream.

Aside from Ragnar and Ivar (Alex Høgh), there were a few Vikings who survived after their ships crashed in "Vikings" season 4, episode 13. Some blamed Ragnar for the incident but Ragnar said he has a plan. When the night came, he and his son slashed the other Vikings' throats in their sleep and gave themselves up to King Ecbert.

"Vikings" season 4, episode 14 preview shows Ragnar in a cage in front of King Ecbert. "Why have you taken so long to return," asked King Ecbert. Ragnar said it's a part of his strategy. King Ecbert definitely smells something fishy about this plan. He knew that Ragnar is coming after Prince Aethelwulf discovered a piece of black raven banner and he also learned about the killed Vikings.

The next scene shows King Ecbert saying, "You are the most dangerous man on this earth," before letting Ragnar out of the cage. "Don't be afraid," Ragnar said in a creepy voice. Episode 14 synopsis via Spoiler TV suggests Ragnar will negotiate an unexpected concession from King Ecbert.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode is definitely a must-see for Lagertha fans as it will feature confrontation between her and Aslaug. Lagertha launched her attack on Kattegat and the preview shows the two in a heated conversation surrounded by shieldmaidens.

"You're a witch," Lagertha said. Aslaug answered that she didn't take her husband; instead, Ragnar chose to be with her. Lagertha said it is her dream to take him back home and Aslaug has no choice but to drop her weapon because she is outnumbered.

"Vikings" season 4, episode 14 titled "In the Uncertain Hour Before the Morning" will air Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on History. Watch the trailer below:
