"Dragon Ball Super" news on the upcoming arc is finally here. After numerous speculations on what the upcoming arc would be, there is finally some reliable information from the leaked scans of the special February edition of V-Jump. Based on the contents of the magazine, the next DBS saga would be the "Universe Survival Arc." The teaser revealed the lineup of Universe 6's strongest warriors.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episodes 71 To 76

"Dragon Ball Super" Episodes 71 and 72 will be a faceoff between Goku and Hit. Hit will be the cause of Goku's death but the Saiyan will be revived right after. In fact, Goku will muster enough strength to launch a counter attack and show Hit that he will not die easily.

Right after Hit and Goku's mini arc, episode 73 which will be the first DBS episode to air in 2017 will be all about Gohan. The provisional title of the episode is "Gohan Gets Made into a Movie?!" Episode 74 will be another side story and it is unclear who will be the star of the episode. There is no news yet on what episode 75 and 76 will be but they are scheduled to air on Jan. 22 and 29, 2017.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episodes 77: Universe Survival Arc

Prior rumors suggested that the multiverse tournament would be the next arc after the Future trunks arc where Zamasu and Black Goku tried to get rid of all the mortals on the planet. This time, the strongest warriors from Universe 6 will face another challenge.

Based on the V-Jump poster, the warriors for Universe 6 will include Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Buu, Krillin, Master Roshi, Android 17, Android 18, and Tien. The mightiest warriors from Universe 6 are going to face Universe 7 fighters. However, the fight might not be exclusive to the fighters from Universe 6 and 7 - this could be the well-awaited multiverse tournament. The first episode on the "Universe Survival Arc" which is presumably "Dragon Ball Super" episode 77 will air on Feb. 5, 2017.
