Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Releases Emergency Patch To Fix Problem Of Xbox One Players

Since yesterday, players of 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' from Xbox One could not access the game after the latest update. This caused many gamers to voice out their rants online and it looks like they have been heard as Activision have just released an emergency patch. The new patch is said to fix the bug that prevents Xbox One players from playing the game.

Xbox One Players Unable to Play the Game

According to reports, Xbox One players who were trying to connect online after the latest update were not given access. A prompt message comes up each time players attempt to connect that says "The game will now restart due to an update failure. (Error Code: POLANA)". Sources claim that this error is caused by a bug from the 1.06 patch released last Tuesday.

The problem seems to be only affecting Xbox One players because there was no complain seen from PC players so far. And now just after 24 hours, Activision has released a new patch that is supposed to fix the bug. Hopefully, the patch will effectively fix all bug problems in the latest patch for Xbox One players.

'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' 1.06 Patch

The new update of 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' is released to fix current issues and glitch of different consoles that players are experiencing. For Xbox One, the patch fixes the black flicker that appears after a player's match in the game lobby, fix the bug that prohibits the player from auto reloading when selecting a weapon, auto adjustment of audio for players without headsets, and fix bug that prohibits players from unmuting other players.

The patch also included general fixes for all consoles such as exploits in different maps, adjust the message of the day, fix the patch that crashes the game whenever players load into Frontier after a custom game and much more.
