Bandai Namco launched a new update for both PS4 and Xbox One version Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Prior to the announcement, the company has released the full patch notes for the two updates. The update of the game's PC version has also been released on a later date.
According to the report from Attack of the Fanboy, the announcement for 1.04 and 1.05 updates were posted on the official website of Bandai Namco. The post stated that the updates were dedicated to both PS4 and Xbox One and will be arriving on Steam soon after.
The report said that the main part of the update is to support the upcoming DLC pack of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Additionally, the latest update of the game title also includes free DLC such as playable characters of SSGSS Goku x10 and Hit Pure Progress. Meanwhile, the other details of the patch will be discussed below.
Both 1.04 and 1.-05 updates of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 highlight several new additions such as NPCs, background music and more. To be more precise, the update adds new NPCs like Match Coordinator and Team Match Coordinator that will supervise the players to join a team/an online battle. Next, it added 7 new present background music that are playable in Conton City. 98 new titles for DLC 1 teacher's quests and online events were also added.
Search feature is now available that will enable players to search for Online Expert Mission rooms to the Online Parallel Quest receptions. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also added 5 new teachers namely Whis, Cooler Final Form, Bardock, Android 16 and Future Gohan. As reported, they will be accessible for free or via the VIP Corner on December 20th.
Aside from the newest in-game additions, it was revealed that Dual Masenko has been nerfed. There are also some tweaks done on the battle balance in order for the Aura Dash not to activate when pressing the square button instantly after a vanishing step. After this patch, a vanishing step plus weak attack will be triggered when players will hit the square button after doing a vanishing step.
Lastly, the update has covered some minor bug fixes on several areas of the game such as save data corruption bug, application error where players get stuck after a Raid Boss uses Scatter Attack. and more.
