Battlefield 1 Update: French Armies Teased In Latest DLC Image

Battlefield 1 developers seem to be teasing the contents of the latest DLC of the first person shooter game. The upcoming expansion pack is entitled They Shall Not Pass and will feature the French Army. This upcoming DLC would be the first of four paid post-launch releases and will be arriving next year.

According to the report from Game Rant, players of Battlefield 1 have been receiving a decent amount of post launch contents through updates until now. This is to help tide them over until the latest DLC. Currently, the game's developers have released a teaser image for the upcoming expansion pack in order to give the players an insight on what to expect for the new DLC.

The teaser image was posted on the official tweet of Battlefield 1's Twitter Account. An intense-looking bunker battle depicted in the image with German and French soldiers battling for survival in an enclose space with torn French flags attached to the walls. Moreover, the image comes with a caption saying "Soyez prêts," which is a French word for, "Be ready."

Despite Battlefield 1 already having several playable areas in the game featuring French cities, the game has not actually featured the force of France in the battle. Nonetheless, it would all change this upcoming March 2017 with the arrival of They Shall Not Pass DLC.

As previously reported, the premium pass of Battlefield 1 will include a total of 16 maps along with their respective packages. It is safe to assume that DICE and Electronic Arts would divide them up evenly as possible. Following the release of They Shall Not Pass, another future expansion pack will took over and will direct their players to the Eastern front for the Russian Army to join the war.

Meanwhile, beyond the addition French and Russian armies that represent themselves in the Great War, both DICE and EA have not yet officially revealed additional details regarding the other countries. They might add British, German, Austro-Hungarian, Italian, Ottoman and American armies or perhaps the highly expected Allied nation or Central power.

Battlefield 1 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
