After months of discussion and bargaining, the Brown family seems to have finally accepted Antonio Padron as he and Mykelti are already wed. The young couple tied the knot last weekend and both are already excited to fly out of Utah for their honeymoon. Meanwhile, "Sister Wives" season 8, episode 4 just featured Maddie and Caleb's Bohemian wedding.
Mykelti and her former-fiancé Antonio celebrated love and tied the knot in a colorful celebration on Saturday, Dec. 17. Despite the Browns initially disapproving of their plans of immediately getting married, Mykelti and Tony went into bargaining talks with their parents to make sure that they will be wed before the year ends.
It can be recalled that the young couple announced their engagement in June only a few days after Maddie's wedding with Caleb. The 20-year-old daughter of Kody and Christine then revealed their plans of holding a ceremony in August. Previous reports though have it that the Brown parents felt that the couple was in a rush, hence their request for the wedding to be moved in December. This also follows recent reports claiming that the Browns are suffering from financial crisis, one reason for Kody to negotiate with the couple to pick a later date.
The Brown parents and the marrying couple agreed to push through with a December wedding, but Kody had to pay for the honeymoon fees to make up for the delay. While some followers were expecting to hear that the ceremony will not happen this year, the Browns held another celebration of love in St. George, Utah.
The couple chose a Mexican theme with a vintage touch in an outdoor ceremony where over 400 guests attended. The couple seemed excited to spend their lives together with Mykelti speaking with People about Tony before the wedding day.
"I'm not nervous at all and I can't wait to spend my life with Tony," the then bride-to-be said. "I'm most excited about being able to wake up every morning to him and go to bed every night knowing I'm safe in his arms." The couple shared their intention to keep a monogamous marriage despite the Browns being polygamous.
While Mykelti and Tony are already excited to hop in to their honeymoon in real-time, "Sister Wives" season 8, episode 4 featured the wedding of Maddie and Caleb which really took place in June. The groom was seen emotional with Kody as he read a letter written for him by Maddie. The couple is expecting their first child which they said is due in May.
