Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release this coming 2017 by fall. With next year just a few days away, an insider provided an update as to what RRD 2 fans should look forward to once the game releases. Rockstar Games already provided a teaser earlier this year. But it did not really give out that much information into the game. Knowing which characters will be playable on the next Red Dead Redemption installment is definitely welcome information.
Insider Reveals Red Dead Redemption 2 Details
The information on the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 came from the same reliable source who tipped updates about GTA 5 Online. Given that he was accurate with his information on GTA 5, it would be safe to assume that the new 'rumored' characters and game details he provided for RDR 2 will also be accurate.
According to the insider, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a single player story with an open world setting. There will be stranger events and gang hideouts. He also mentioned that three playable characters from the former gang will be on RDR 2. However, John will not be part of those playable characters. If all these rumors prove true, then Red Dead Redemption fans have a lot to look forward to from seeing new areas to the game to exploring new stories.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Mode And Multiplayer
Aside from that, the tipster added that Rockstar's new title has more to reveal with its multiplayer mode. Rockstar, on the other hand, has stated early on from a press release that an online mode will be available. The insider concluded that just like with GTA 5, the online mode for Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available for later. He further explained that releasing the multiplayer and online mode early on will not do the single player mode any good. It will only crash RDR 2's servers with everybody trying to access the multiplayer and online modes.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available sometime in Fall 2017 on PS4 and Xbox One. For more information on release date, game settings, characters and more, check out this post. Stay tuned for more updates on RDR 2.
