Since Angry Birds has been introduced a couple of years back, it has been an instant hit due to its simple but exciting game play. Apparently, it was reported that the most enjoyable war between the mugging birds and pigs has returned as Rovio just recently announced that they will be releasing a new game title for the Angry Birds franchise entitled Angry Birds Blast.
According to the report from The Bitbag, Vice-President of Games for Rovio, Heini Kaihu said that Angry Birds Blast is really a breakthrough project in the entire history of the company. In addition, he also noted that the Angry Birds franchise has just celebrated its seventh year anniversary this year.
Based on the report, the new game title has been available for download since December 22. Meanwhile, the creators and producers of the new game are all assertive that the title will be a huge success. As reported, Angry Birds Blast consists of both nostalgic and modern concepts packaged in one game. Additionally, given the fact that it looks back at all development of its predecessors.
Kaihu also added that the team had done their very best in developing the game, making it more exciting as its predecessors but maintains its own uniqueness. Technically, Angry Birds Blast is still on its soft launch phase on select territories but Kaihu said that he is excited to launch the brand new game in other parts of the world.
Angry Birds Blast is playable offline which needs a little bit of time to download. Unlike the latest hit game Super Mario Run, Blast is better as it does not require internet connection most of the time. Meanwhile, some players also said that Super Mario Run appears to be fairly taking control of much of your data.
As seen on the gameplay, the birds are trapped in colorful balloons. The player's task is to free these birds by solving puzzles, pop pigs and complete stages full of balloons waiting to be popped.
Angry Birds Blast has been soft-launched in the UK. On the other hand, you will receive a free Starter Gold Pack worth of $9.99 if you pre-registered on their website. More Angry Birds Blast update coming soon.
