Battlefield 1 Experiences Server Issues As Player Pool Rises?

No one can argue that Battlefield 1 is among the greatest games this year has ever offered. Since its official release, the title's player pool has drastically increased. Apparently though, this might have been the root cause of the servers' struggle to stabilize in the recent days. A good number of players are reportedly unable to access the game's various multiplayer services.

According to Express, the servers of EA's latest title is experiencing downfall. This is possibly due to many players trying to access the game. Unfortunately, it prevented other people from logging into the likes of Domination or Conquest. Heck, some fans are even reporting that they've lost their characters' progress.

The studio, however, has yet to confirm or even shed some light on the ongoing Battlefield 1 issue. The company's Twitter page, in particular, haven't given any word. Hence it remains a mystery as to why the servers are experiencing such case. The problem is said to be affecting players who are using either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The first reports of the incident came to surface around 7 AM in UK's time.

In such cases, the most known cause is a dramatic spike in terms of a game's player pool. This might also be the main reason why EA's servers have become a little bit unstable. After all, there was a huge boost of player quantity as soon as the Christmas season arrived. It's worth noting that during this period, various sales and discounts were offered.

But until the video game company clarifies anything, the Battlefield 1 community won't know exactly the actual cause. Aside from knowing the culprit, it may also be hard to determine when the outage will last. Hopefully, it gets fixed as soon as possible. Besides, issues like these aren't permanent, though they'll take a good amount of time when it comes to fixing.
