Concept Art For The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Celebrates Holidays

One of the main reasons Nintendo fans are excited for the release of the Nintendo Switch is because it will be one of the first consoles to feature another upcoming Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. To get into the holiday spirit, the game developers have released some holiday-themed concept art of the game.

On their Facebook page, it features a nice snowy scene featuring some of the new creatures that will be appearing in Breath of the Wild. Two other images have also been released, and they are concept art for Link in the game, as well as a nice scenic view of a snowy mountain with the game's main hero huddling close to a fire.

According to Gamespot, the Legend of Zelda franchise is hitting a milestone in 2017 as they will be celebrating their 30th anniversary. What's interesting is that Breath of the Wild looks to have very close gameplay to that of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which was released back in 1998.

Breath of the Wild is set to come out on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, but there have also been rumors floating around that the game may not release on the same day as the Switch. The reason for which is because the developers are said to be having a hard time trying to localize the game for other platforms, and the process is taking longer than initially anticipated.

With a console as unique as that of the Switch, it's possible that some elements may be harder to transition from on platform to another, so Nintendo may be having quite the problem when it comes to the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

No release date has been announced for Breath of the Wild, but fans are hopeful that it will come out sometime in mid-2017.
