‘Prey’ PS4 Latest Update: New Game Will Not Be A Sequel, Release Date Announced

The Prey PS4 latest update indicates that the new video game will not be a sequel of the game released in 2006. This was confirmed by the developer Arkane Studios. It will be a completely different story from the original video game. This new video game will feature a new protagonist who will be the main character of the story.

The Game Developer Retained the Original Title

With the development of the game now headed by Arkane Studios, Prey PS4 latest update will feature a space station that orbits the moon. Players of the game will control Morgan Yu. They can choose whatever gender they like for Morgan. This character will be surprised upon waking up to learn that he is surrounded by terrifying aliens. However, he finds out that these aliens can transform themselves into office chairs or cups of tea.

Originally, Arkane Studios thought of a new title for the game. However, they eventually decided to retain the original title because the story of Prey PS4 latest update also revolves around a guy in a spaceship that is being terrorized by aliens. The game developer also wanted the upcoming game to be a remake and not just a sequel. As such, they would like to incorporate their own brand with the iconic elements of the original video game.

The Story Plot Of Prey PS4

The space station in Prey PS4 latest update is Talos I. This space vessel has two main missions: research and containment. The basic story plot revolves around Morgan Yu, who is stuck in the spaceship under mysterious circumstances. He discovers that there are other creatures inside the station. They are called Typhons and are extremely dangerous.

These creatures are capable of hiding in plain sight. Therefore, Morgan is in a bind because he doesn't know when and how these creatures will attack. They can disguise themselves as computer monitors, plant pots and other everyday items. The developer said the release of this game is slated in Spring 2017.
