LG Unveils New Window 10-Powered Gram Laptops At CES 2017

LG unveiled at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas the new lineup of Gram laptops with all the improvements and features that customers were expecting to find in these incredible devices, with a new detail that surprised everyone: the fact that these products will be powered by Windows 10, joining a long list of hardware manufacturers who have made this kind of move gaining incredible results and an increase in its popularity.

The Gram Laptops Will Be Released In Three Different Models

According to the International Business Times, being powered by Windows 10 will provide the Gram laptops with the incredible features that are included in the operating system, such as built-in fingerprint readers to experience Windows Hello and the famous Windows Ink. Although the company hasn't provided more details about its new products, it promised to give further details about the market rollout and price in another date.

Nevertheless, the company explained that the Gram laptops will be released in three different models, which are the 13.3-inch with 940gm weight, the 13-inch with 970gm weight and the largest model at 15.6-inch with 1,090gm weight. Also, these devices will pack 60W battery to offer the longer battery life that you can find on a laptop right now, and three different metallic colors so you can roll with style, including shiny white, metal rose and dark silver.

The Gram Laptops Would Compete Against Apple And Microsoft´s Devices

As reported by The Verge, the three different models will pack Intel´s new Kaby processors, up to 16GV of RAM, up to 512GB of solid-state storage and 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution IPS touchscreen. These Gram laptops will come with USB-C charging ports, a microSD card slot, and an Intel HD Graphics 620 chip.

Naturally, these Gram laptops promise to be some of the most incredible devices that we would see this year, to the point in which it could easily become ferocious competitors for laptops that Apple and Microsoft are expected to release. Somehow, the competition in 2017 will be greater than ever.
