2017 Detroit Auto Show Schedule

Starting on Sunday, thousands of automotive company executives, industry analysts and even journalists will begin attending the events at Cobo Center and across metro Detroit for the 2017 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

The important people will attend the panel discussions regarding random industry topics, exclusive dinners, will hold business meetings and will reveal all the never before seen cars and trucks at the press conferences. All of this good things will occur largely at private events for the media before the 2017 Detroit Auto Show opens to the public on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017.

As we wait for the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, here is the complete schedule that you might want to check from WZZM.

Sunday

In the morning, it is expected for Bentley to reveal Continental Supersports, the fastest car they've ever made. In the afternoon, Hollywood movie studio Pixar will give an advance look at characters that will drive “Cars 3," Waymo CEO John Krafcik will reveal the autonomous Chrysler Pacifica minivan and General Motors will take the wraps off the all-new GMC Terrain. In the evening, Kia will reveal a new car they say will change the brand's image, Mercedes will update its GLA small SUV and Volkswagen will reveal its all-new Tiguan SUV.

Monday

In the morning, North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle will be announced in Cobo Center's recently renovated atrium, GM will unveil the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse family SUV on the convention center show floor. Audi will debut the all-new 2018 Audi A5 and S5 Cabriolet, Lexus will reveal its redesigned LS full-size sedan.

Ford will hold the last automotive press conference at Joe Louis Arena because demolition will begin later this year. The automaker is promising a big show and some big surprises. There are also expected announcements from Mercedes, Nissan, Honda, Toyota and Guangzhou Automobile Group Company that will debut three new vehicles, according to MotorTrend.

Tuesday

The highlight of the Tuesday schedule will be when the Auto suppliers Denso, Michelin, ZF Group, Röchling Automotive, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, Aisin Group and Bosch will introduce their latest transmissions, autonomous and electronic technology. Also, executives from Adient, Dana, Ford, GM, Visteon and others will present financial and strategic updates at the Deutsche Bank Global Auto Industry Conference.

Wednesday

There will have a panel discussion throughout the day about the coming revolution of driverless, or autonomous cars. Executives including UberVice President Sherif Marakby, Ford's President of the Americas Joe Hinrichs and GM product development chief Mark Reuss speak at Automotive News World Congress.
