HTC faced a delay in the launch of its HTC One flagship smartphone due to component shortages for the company's new Ultra Pixel camera. The smartphone is now expected to launch on T-Mobile on May 1, which will definitely hurt the company, as Samsung is releasing the Samsung Galaxy S4 on April 26.

HTC lost a great window of opportunity to get its smartphone on shelves before the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S4, but now consumers will have a choice between both smartphones, and things aren't looking great for HTC.
