2017 is here and people who held back buying a new phone last year can't wait to see what's in store for them this year. It's worth noting that not every smartphone company have shared all the juicy information about their future releases. However, rumors are rich in details and as of now, it's the rumors that keeps all these fire burning for the alleged 2017 smartphone products.
Apple iPhone 8
Apple's iPhone 8 is the company's supposed anniversary iPhone. It's said to come with a super-premium housing made of glass and it is also expected to come with wireless charging support. On top of that, the iPhone 8 could also come with no home button and an entirely flat front surface.
Apple iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus
The iPhone 7S and 7S Plus are expected to be the regular successors to the 2016 iPhones. Not much has been said about these devices apart from the possibility of a red color variant. Of course, these two phones are also expected to run the faster next-gen iOS processor from Apple.
The OnePlus 4 is still expected to be a flagship killing device. Its predecessors (OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T) from 2016 boast of their high-end processors and massive RAM sizes. The same things could be expected for the OnePlus 4 and hopefully an improvement in the display and camera departments as well.
The supposed HTC 11 device has already been leaked recently, as per Tech Times. As per the said video leak, the next HTC flagship is expected to come with a premium curved display. Overall, this phone is quite an improvement over its siblings and an obvious take on leading smartphone brands.
Not a lot has been said about the LG G6. However, this phone has been once rumored to come with an all-glass body. If this rumor is true, it would be a massive leap of improvement over its predecessors.
The LG V30 is the successor to the popular LG V20 from 2016. Although not a lot of rumors have come out about it, it has been mentioned by a popular leakster once. This increases the chances that LG is definitely continuing this flagship series and that they aren't backing out from the strong smartphone competition. The LG V20 is such a premium and amazing smartphone so hopefully its successor will be just the same.
The Surface Phone is still an uncertain release. Microsoft hasn't even talked about this phone yet. However, rumors about it continue to spread online so there's a good chance that it will show up soon.
Samsung Galaxy S8
The Galaxy S8 is expected to launch not later than Q2 this year. Since this phone will be released very soon, rumors about it are already all over the web. It was said that the S8 could come in two curved variants and both of which could also have the anticipated new AI assistant from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 isn't due for launch until at least mid-2017. However, Note fans are already awaiting its arrival. With the discontinuation of the Note 7, fans of the popular phablet are out of great options for a premium phone with a stylus. This means that despite Note 7's controversy, the Galaxy Note 8 could still be a very big hit to the masses.
Nokia 2017 Phones
Nokia's comeback is also one of the most awaited things for 2017. As the company releases its first Android for the year, fans are already expecting new ones to come in, especially since the first 2017 Nokia device was just launched in China, as per Forbes. Hopefully Nokia is able to cater to a wider audience with its next smartphone releases.
