The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is on its way and many reports are suggesting that the most anticipated phablet will be foldable, bendable and bezel.

After the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Samsung experienced a lot of pressure. According to Inquisitr, the Samsung Galaxy Note line may have finally reached its end. But no, Samsung is a fighter and are going to come back after a big failure. This is why as 2017 approaches, more and more reports and rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 abound.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Could Be A Foldable Phablet

Among the most anticipated specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is its foldable display, moving from the prototype shown by the company just a few years ago. It is also said to become the first handset to benefit from the foldable feature technology. A report confirms that the tech giant is expected to come up with a foldable display for the Galaxy Note 8 after granting the patent for a fold-out smartphone from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

One of the smartphone's state-of-the-art features includes the rumored 5.7-inch edge-to-edge flexible display that can also transform into a 6.2-inch screen with just a push of a button. The said feature was raised by the Dutch YouTuber MobySmartCat, a popular leak source for smartphone rumors.

At Samsung's keynote back in the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013, Samsung wowed everyone with a feature of a flexible phone prototype, according to Telegraph. Working with one of the biggest technology manufacturers in the world, Youm, Samsung showcased a folding Windows 8 smartphone that can display information on its edges and bend without color distortion on its screen.

Other Features Of Samsung Galaxy Note 8

MobySmartCat also claimed that the high-tech screen display of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could also offer a 4K screen resolution support as well as a virtual reality (VR) compatibility feature.

Aside from that, the YouTuber also claimed that the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have a 30-megapixel (MP) as its primary camera. This feature would be a massive specification bump compared with the 12 MP camera of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to boast out with a Snapdragon 830 processor and Samsung's very own Exynos 8895 Anastasia. This will enable the smartphone device to have a better performance and an outstanding battery optimization, according to The Christian Times.

On the other hand, Mobile & Apps reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have an expandable storage up to 2 TB. This is based on the review that since the Galaxy Note 7 can already support an expandable storage up to 256 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could also have a USB Type-C port, IP68 both water, and dust resistance protection, as well as the Galaxy Note's signature S-Pen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date

While many reports claim that the Samsung is planning to release the upcoming device sometimes in 2017, there are reports claiming that the release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will not be revealed anytime soon. The South Korean giant tech firm could be taking them enough time to perfect the device and to avoid issues of the exploding battery controversy.
