Nexus 6 (X Phone), Nexus X Tablet Concept Images: Android 6.0 Milkshake And More

The Nexus 5 doesn't even exist yet, but that's not going to stop people from creating concept images and specs of future devices. These  latest concept images feature a Nexus 6 (X Phone) and a Nexus X tablet.

Let's begin with the smartphone that is being referred to as the Nexus 6 (X Phone). The designer calls the new design concept "X Envelope." The envelope design is the signature characteristic that will follow smartphones and tablets released by Google and Motorola. The smartphone features an edgy backside that will make the Nexus 6 (X Phone) feel very comfortable in the hand.

This Nexus 6 (X Phone), the designer said, would feature a 4.6-inch 320ppi (pixels per inch) 1280 x 768 flexible IPS (in plane switching) OLED display, Android 6.0 Milkshake, 10-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC (near field communications), GPS and wireless charging out of the box. The smartphone will also be customizable by consumers, just as we heard the upcoming X Phone would also allow this option. The image looks very similar to Motorola's Photon Q smartphone.

According to the designer, the Nexus X 10-inch tablet also uses the new "X Envelope" design seen in the Nexus 6 (X Phone concept). It should make the tablet much more comfortable to hold for extended periods of time.

The Nexus X, the designer continued, here would feature a 10-inch 300ppi (pixels per inch) 2560 x 1600 flexible IPS (in plane switching) OLED display, Android 6.0 Milkshake, 10-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC (near field communications), GPS, wireless charging out of the box, Android buttons, IR spatial tracking, touch stripe for navigation, an active stylus, e-paper toolbar and an LED stripe that will display information. The Nexus X would also allow consumers to customize the Nexus X to their liking.
