Battlefield 1 Update: DICE Released The Full Details Of They Shall Not Pass DLC

Around a few days ago, DICE and Electronic Arts have released a teaser which indicates a revelation for the future launching of Battlefield 1's They Shall Not Pass. This is the first out of four paid expansion packs that are planned for the game.

As of now, the companies have already teased about the interesting details of the DLC. DICE and Electronic Arts are now giving out the outline for the Battlefield 1 DLC, which contains new maps, items, weapons, modes, and more.

As what the post from the game's official website indicates, Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass expansion pack has a total of four maps that were added with a French theme. According to Game Rant, areas and environments that are contained in the post-launched content package are Fort Vaux, Verdun Heights, Rupture and Soissons. Fans can now take a look at the previously-mentioned maps which can be seen in the gallery of images.

Similar to what was previously announced, DICE and Electronic Arts have also made a confirmation about the inclusion of the French army during the detailed announcement of They Shall Not Pass. It also has a new mode that is called Frontlines. As what the game's publisher and developer said, the fresh mode will be a mix of both Conquest and Rush and it bears the official description saying that both teams will be fighting in getting for one flag at a time.

Furthermore, once the objective is met, the action moves on to the next. The game will transform into a Rush-style section once the enemy's HQ control point will be captured where telegraph posts need to be attacked or defended.

Although all of these news make Battlefield 1 fans excited, DICE and Electronics Arts have not yet identified an official release date yet for this game's first paid expansion except that it will be coming out anytime in March.
