Loki says, "When do we start?" no "What is it I must do?" We were able to confirm this with the trailer released on Tuesday April 23. The trailer was not available at the time we wrote this article and our source misquoted the trailer.

A description of a trailer for Thor 2 (Thor: The Dark World) has leaked after vice president of Marvel International Nigel Cook played a trailer for the film at the Disney Consumer Show in Mexico.

The trailer came as a surprise to audience members, who were also shown Iron Man 3 footage. Cook gave little introduction and basically let the trailer speak for itself. Here's a run-down of the trailer, which followed a slideshow of images and set photos:

• We seek quick action shots, in addition to Jane Foster and others running from something. We hear Thor's voiceover over the action.

• Thor says to Jane that he promised he would return. We see Thor coming to Earth and taking Jane back to Asgard.

• Thor gets beaten up in stunning action sequences. Malekith, leader of the Dark Elves, appears unafraid of the downtrodden Thor.

• We see Loki in a futuristic glass prison. Thor says, "I need your help, but if you betray me, I will kill you." Loki responds, "What is it I must do?"

• Jane watches Thor and Malekith fight. Malekith threatens Jane, as Thor looks at him and says, "Noooo!"

Cook indicated that the trailer will be shown publicly on April 26, which coincides with the European and Mexican release date for Iron Man 3. North American audiences will likely get to see the trailer a week later when Iron Man 3 debuts in the U.S.

Thor: The Dark World is scheduled to be released on November 8. Expect to see Iron Man 3 on May 3.
