What To Expect On The New 'Xbox One S' Controllers

There seems to be one particular similarity with every modern console; there is always going to be some really fun and varied controller skins and designs out there, which often results in their being something suitable and appealing for just about everyone.

Console Controller designs and concepts

Different designs for console controllers has defined this generation of console gaming.

According to MSPowerUser, that concept also holds true for the Xbox One, which has gotten some really amazing controller variants over the past years, and that's not even counting all of the things that you can create through means of the Xbox Design Lab. From simpler designs to complex and very vivid creations for serious hardcore gamers, there's a lot - and right now, Microsoft is adding even more.

New Xbox One S Controllers Are Out

Microsoft has officially released the two latest additions to the Xbox One S controller lineup. These are the Ocean Shadow Special Edition and the Winter Forces Special Edition.

These two controllers are both continuations of older series of designs, and both of them have all of the improvements that the Xbox One S controller brought to the table all the way back in August 2016, like a textured grip. While the Dawn Shadow variant paved that way for these enhancements to the Shadow line, this actually is the very first Forces release right after the launch of the Xbox One S, making it the first ever of its line that features the improvements.

Availability And Official Price

According to GameSpot, both of these controllers will become available at select retailers worldwide on February 7, 2017, for $69.99 USD. People can also pre-order them straight from the Microsoft Store right now by visiting their website today.

The Ocean Shadow and the Winter Forces are only two of more controller design variants to come for the Xbox One S. Keep your eyes peeled for more coming.
