Xbox Socprio Update: Why Microsoft Won't Leak Any Details?

The Xbox Scorpio is probably one of the most-awaited consoles to hit the market this year. This console has been causing a lot of buzz due to the fact that Microsoft isn't releasing any major updates or announcements regarding it.

Microsoft keeping things to themselves

With that, people are left dry and thirsty for some more details on the console. Unfortunately, Microsoft just isn't giving anything away as for the moment.

Following the unofficial announcement during last year's E3, Microsoft hasn't been giving away much information about the Xbox Scorpio, the new super console from the company that will be launching later this year, outside for some very short and useless comments that indicate things are going well.

Phil Spencer gives his take on the Scorpio

Recently, Xbox's Phil Spencer commented on the upcoming console, and it seems like things are truly progressing very nicely. According to WCCFTech, on his official Twitter account, Spencer stated that he's really happy with how things are developing for the Xbox Scorpio, also noting how the design team is doing their thing yet again.

More about the state of the Scorpio

Earlier this month, we heard more about the Xbox Scorpio thanks to 343 Industries' Frank O' Connor, revealing that the console seems to be beefier than what everyone would've expected.

According to him, "I literally couldn't answer a question or leak something that went beyond 'Can I do this? Does it support that? How many of these could it render? But what I do want you guys to know is that it's beefier than I expected."

Projected release date

According to Express UK, the Xbox Scorpio will officially launch on a yet to be confirmed 2017 release date worldwide. At the meantime, online reports will keep us updated on the console as soon as more details pop up. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as the days go by.
