Tales Of Berseria Guide, Tips: How To Unleash Mystic Artes And Switch Blasts

Tales of Berseria players can take advantage of Mystic Artes to defeat their opponents. Meanwhile, the Switch Blasts can utilize all the available six characters in the game.

How To Use Mystic Artes

Players should first make sure that they have enough Blast Gauge (BG) before unleashing the Mystic Artes. This indicator is the number placed beside the character's image below the screen's bottom. This special move will require at least 3 BG or possibly more. Players can regain the expanded BG as they continue the fight. PlayStation users need to hit the L2 button during the combo attack to execute the Mystic Artes move.

How To Use Switch Blasts

Tales of Berseria players are only allowed four playable characters during the game. The Switch Blasts though allows players to exchange one of their injured characters for a fresh fighter. This option allows all the six heroes to participate while giving time for the injured ones to heal. The Switch Blast also deals some damages to opponents.

Players simply need to highlight the character due for replacement using the cursor. Once the selection has been made, press the up or down key of the d-pad matched to the new character. The new fighter is equipped with an extra soul and can execute a powerful move as it enters the fray.

Specific Blast Moves

Each of the six characters has unique Switch Blasts styles. Velvet uses Grievous Slash while Laphicet has Seer's Storm. Rokurou can execute the Eluding Strike move while Magilou uses Magilou's Paradise. Meanwhile Eizen and Eleanor have the Road of Survival and Break Roll respectively.
