Since Grand Theft Auto V is the first one to launch, it absolutely makes sense if Rockstar Games is giving their full focus and attention on Grand Theft Auto V. The video game developer said that they want the fans to do the same as well. And if focusing on "GTA 5" is not nearly enough, Rockstar Games is also preparing for the launch of most awaited "Red Dead Redemption 2," leaving "Grand Theft Auto 6" out of the priority list.

Rumored to have a VR or AR support, the cost for "GTA 6" will definitely be much higher than the delay of its release. Although costing millions of dollars, It is expected that Rockstar Games will get more than twice the amount they spent for Grand Theft Auto 6's creation. Based on "Grand Theft Auto 5" profit, the game developer's site revealed that "GTA 5" had generated almost over $800 million within the timeframe of 24 hours after the game's release.

Former Rockstar Games president Leslie Benzies said in his previous interview: "It comes from the idea first. Where it is going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the mission in." With that said, it is quite impossible for Grand Theft Auto VI to have its release on either 2018 or 2019, which makes its fans a lot more excited about the game's release.
