Final Fantasy XV Not Planning To Have A Nintendo Switch Port

Final Fantasy XV has finally launched, satisfying all PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers for their long-awaited RPG. Although the game has performed so well on the abovementioned platforms, there were also rumors if whether it will come to other platforms or not. However, a PC release may be a sure possibility but it seems like a Nintendo Switch version is still not in the news.

Hajime Tabata said in an interview with Dualshockers that they do not have any plans for Switch as of this time, but they are still interested in the platform. He also said that Switch might be cool to see if it will be running on Android with its portable screen. Final Fantasy is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to Game Rant.

This information has been a talk among developers of recent games. In spite of the console having greater third-party support than the Wii U, it still remains to be seen as to how well will the console perform in terms of its sales. As per reports of Attack of the FanBoy, the Wii U has been known to be Nintendo's worst selling console ever, and the Nintendo Switch is expected to perform much better right off the bat so that many developers will be convinced to put more games into it.

It will not be long until the information about how the console will be received by the public will surface since it will be launching on March 3 for $299. It still does not have the most extensive launch lineup, however, the fact of it launching a heavy-hitter like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might be making up a lot for it. The said game will also be launched on Wii U, but for sure it will not be the console's last major release.
