Nerfing in games like Supercell's Clash Royale is inevitable. While some may not agree, it's being implemented for a certain purpose. Well, that's to make the game balanced and fair for everyone. And sure enough, this is exactly what the studio did via the latest update.
According to TouchArcade, the latest Clash Royale troop to receive a nerf is no other than the Executioner. Apparently, this didn't come as a surprise to the entire community. That's because the character has always been believed to be overpowered. So, in a sense, the nerfing came just in the nick of time.
The latest Clash Royale patch, which Supercell recently launched, came with the nerfing axe. It brought the balance changes that decreased the aforementioned troop's damage. It's been done by at least 6 percent. As for its range, it went down from 5 to 4.5. The character's axe hit radius, on the other hand, is decreased by 10 percent.
Also part of the list of the Clash Royale nerf patch is an item. It's no other than the Poison, which has been relatively decreased in terms of duration. While this is true, its damage, however, has been increased to at least 24 percent. In reality, it's still a win-win situation for players who love to utilize it.
Add to the nerfed Clash Royale characters is the Witch. But like the Poison, its damage has been increased. Developer Supercell added a percentage of 6, giving it a huge lift. This is going to give the character a slight edge in various battles.
Furthermore, P.E.K.K.A in Clash Royale wasn't able to avoid the nerf axe, too. But this time, it's more about its deploy time. From having 3 seconds, it has been greatly reduced to 1. The Dark Prince, on the other hand, received an increase on its hitpoints (5%). Meanwhile, Baby Dragon's acquire an increase for its range (from 3 to 3.5).
