Nokia Lumia 928: Detailed Specs Leaked, Are The Specs Up To Our Expectations?

The rumor mill for the Nokia Lumia 928 is getting bigger as more and more rumors are circling the smartphone space. Now a detailed specifications list has leaked giving us a more information on the handset.

"We had this info dropped to us by a certain anonymous source. I can't personally vouch for it but it sounds in-line with what we are expecting the Verizon Nokia Lumia 928 to feature. That is, nothing listed here is exactly crazy," reports WPCentral.

The Finnish company has not confirmed any details of the upcoming Windows Phone 8 (WP8) device but many market observers believe that the handset may debut very soon.

The handset is expected to sport a 4.5-inch WXGA HD OLED display with 334 pixels per inch (ppi). A dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960+WTR processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with 1GB of RAM is expected to power the handset.

The device will be global ready and will either have an 8-megapixel or 7.2-megapixel rear-facing camera with Xenon flash and LED light. The Lumia 928 is speculated to have 32GB of internal storage space and no option to expand using a microSD card.

A 2000mAh battery is expected to fuel the handset. The Lumia 928 is also expected to have an aluminum body which will measure 5.24 x 2.71 x 0.44 inches and weigh 5.7 ounces.

The handset is expected to head to U.S. carrier Verizon and if rumors are to be believed, then the carrier may launch the handset at a 'special announcement' on May 22..

The Lumia 928 is not very different from the Lumia 920, so it will be interesting to see if the handset is able to attract many smartphone customers looking to buy a top-end handset.
